NEW RACE DATE: SUNDAY MARCH 12, 2023
We have rescheduled the race to take place on Sunday! Packet pickup and race day registration will take place at the Fire Hall as planned, however since Somewhere is closed, we will reroute the course back to the Fire Hall for the post race and awards ceremony. Runners are also invited to stop by The Stone Jug after the race. They will be offering Happy Hour pricing and Blue Light specials for all participants!
For those who cannot attend the rescheduled date (and we realize there will be a few) there will not be refund or deferal options. Those who do not attend will automatically be switched to the virtual division and your race shirt and medal can be picked up by a friend at the race or we will gladly mail it out on Monday 3/14.
Please join us on Sunday March 12, 2023 for the 5th Annual St. Patrick's Rock'n 5K in Youngstown, New York! All participants who register by Thursday March 9th at 9am are guaranteed to receive a Rock'n 5K t-shirt in their requested size. Alternate gift (TBD) for late registrants. In addition, the first 250 to register will receive one of our newly designed custom bottle opener finisher medals! Custom race bibs and post race food/snacks also provided. The race is being brought to you by iRun WNY and will take in the beautiful residential neighborhoods throughout the village. Our goal is to help raise money for the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company Fire Police who help at local races and serve our community throughout the year.
The race will start and finish at the Youngstown Fire Hall. There will be one water station located along the course and bottled water will be provided to participants at the finish line.

Can't make the race... Participate virtually! Simply sign up for the Virtual Race option and you get to choose the location and time to get out on your own and run/walk your 5K between 3/1/23 and 4/1/23. Feel free to use the FREE IYR Virtual App to track and score your run. You will also be able to manually enter your finish time directly to the IYR Results Page starting on 3/1/23 and ending on 4/1/23. We will automatically mail out your St Patrick's Rock'n 5K shirt along with the custom shamrock finisher medal/bottle opener (Continental USA only for shipping).
POST RACE CELEBRATION
The post race and awards ceremony will take place at the Fire Hall after the run. There will also be traditional Irish music at the finish line and inside the fire hall. Participants are invited to stop by The Stone Jug after the race. They will be offering Happy Hour pricing and Blue Light specials to all runners!
There will be plenty of free parking at the fire hall and throughout the Village of Youngstown. St. Bernard's Church has a large lot that is located approximately 2 blocks from the Fire Hall if needed.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Hand crafted trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers. Age group winners will also be announced and presented with award decals for the back of their custom finisher medal. All runners can print custom certificates and view finish line photos from the results page after the race.
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc), we want runners to know up front that we reserve the right to reschedule the event OR convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
